Crack Sealing
Proper attention to pavement cracking will prevent cracks from spreading and double the life of the pavement. Treating pavement cracks quickly will pay big dividends later by delaying costly resurfacing.
Any crack in the pavement will allow moisture to penetrate to the subsurface. The goal of a good pavement maintenance program should be to keep moisture from entering the asphalt pavement. Even cracks that may go largely unnoticed are conduits for moisture.
We rout the cracks and joints to clean the crack surfaces and create a reservoir. This reservoir allows the sealant to move as your pavement contracts. Next we clean them with compressed air for maximum adhesion. Finally we seal them with hot-applied, polymer-based, asphalt sealant.
Seal Coating
Parking lots begin taking abuse the day they are built. Four seasons a year is great for Mid-westerners but it's brutal on pavement. Add daily traffic use, water seeping in from rain, and the winter freeze-thaw cycles. These elements will prematurely crack and age asphalt. Leaving this deterioration untreated leads to costly repairs.
Sealcoating is the process of applying a clay-stabilized, mineral-filled asphalt emulsion. It creates a protective surface layer that coats your asphalt, protects, beautifies, and adds years to its life, at a fraction of the cost of having to replace pavement once its worn beyond repair.
We only use Asphalt based, non-carcinogenic sealers. We do not use Coal Tar sealers. Click here and you will see why. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34809699/ns/us_news-environment/from/ET
Patching
Your asphalt repair area is saw cut, removed and replaced. The sub-base is recompacted and new asphalt is placed in lifts and compacted.
Sweeping
From a one time cleaning to quarterly sweeping, we have the ability to clean your lot. Our crews work with your schedule. We sweep and vacuum the lot and haul the debris away.
Striping
Crisp, clean lines offer a welcoming and professional appearance for any business.Fresh line markings are essential for traffic, pedestrians and parking.
Infrared Heater
Infrared thermal bituminous pavement patching is a method of blending blacktop with infrared heated existing blacktop to create a joint-free integral patch. The machine is capable of heating the existing blacktop to a depth of approximately two inches without oxidation or burning. There is no flame in direct contact with the existing blacktop surface.
Concrete Sealing
As with asphalt surfaces, the sealing of concrete is critical to the overall life of the pavement as well. Though maintenance is performed less frequently, it is vital to preserve your major initial investment.
